40 multiple-choice questions on regulations and traffic signs. You need 30 correct (75%) to pass. If you fail, you must wait one day before retesting; in-person attempts are unlimited.
The manual says to study all of its materials for the test. It runs in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Japanese, Russian, Somali and Spanish, with your own interpreter allowed for other languages by appointment. Pass and buy the TIPIC within 60 days.
