Rules people get wrong

• School buses: on a two-lane road, a two-lane road with a center turn lane, or a four-lane road without a median, traffic from both directions stops. Only on a divided highway of four or more lanes does oncoming traffic keep going.
• Stay stopped until the stop arm is withdrawn, the red lights go off and the bus starts to move.
• Level 1 permit: hold it nine months and log at least 60 hours of driving, 10 of them at night.
• Red reflective pavement markers mean you are going the wrong way.
