Rules people get wrong
- Signs and rules are scored separately: 15 of 20 on each. A perfect rules score can't make up for a failed signs test.
- On a highway divided by a median, traffic on the opposite side from a stopped school bus does not have to stop.
- A slow-moving-vehicle emblem means the vehicle moves at less than 25 mph.
- HOV violations: up to $75 first, rising to $150 plus a point on your record by the fourth offense.
