Speed and space1 of 1
Unless otherwise posted, what is the maximum speed for passenger vehicles on a rural interstate?
The answer
Answer: B. Rural interstate highways are outside urban areas with a population of at least 50,000. Passenger vehicles may not exceed 70 mph or the posted limit there, while trucks over 26,000 pounds may not exceed 65 mph. On a rural state divided highway the limit is 60 mph, and on an urban interstate it is 55 mph unless a sign says otherwise.
