Road signs/T Intersection Sign
T Intersection Sign: what it means and what to do
A T intersection sign means your road ends ahead at a T: it does not continue straight through, and you will have to turn left or right.
What it looks like
A yellow diamond with a black T-shaped symbol.
What to do
- Slow down and plan which way you will turn.
- Look for a stop sign or signal at the junction and for cross traffic that does not stop.
- Do not go straight at the intersection. The road you are on ends there.
On the permit test
Tests show the T and ask what it means or what you cannot do at the junction (go straight).
